Frisco is a tollway town. The Dallas North Tollway (DNT) runs north and south through it, and the Sam Rayburn Tollway (SH-121) cuts east and west along the southern edge toward Legacy, Castle Hills and Lewisville.
- To downtown Dallas: a daily DNT commute costs $297.78 a month with a TollTag at 21 workdays (NTTA rates through June 30, 2027). ZipCash is double. The DNT Eldorado gantry alone is $2.19 per pass.
- To Legacy: many buildings here sit close to Legacy West. The SRT or DNT gets you there fast, and some routes stay on surface streets the whole way.
- Toll-free: Preston Road parallels the DNT. It takes longer at 8 AM, but it costs nothing. We show you the minutes and the dollars for both.
- Rail: there is no DART rail in the city. If you want to ride, look at buildings near Downtown Plano or CityLine stations instead.
We add your toll route to the true monthly number, so a building north of 121 and a core building compare on the same line. It's the same math we run on all new apartments in Dallas.
